First the priest reads the service of the Blessing of the Waters.
Next, the priest throws the cross into the water three times.
Each time the cross is thrown in, an altar boy or member of the church retrieves it and brings it back to the priest.
Next, the priest blesses everyone with a splash of blessed water!
